About

Mending Fences is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 15530 West Highway 326 in Morriston, Florida. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Mending Fences. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Mending Fences.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Mending Fences, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged Adults, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Mending Fences have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Mending Fences. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Mending Fences can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Mending Fences by visiting www.mendingfences.com now.

This place literally saved my life. The staff is quality and the experience was an incredible gift. Horse therapy can have a huge impact on anyone struggling with trauma and addiction. The food, the queen size beds, smores around the campfire at night...The lightening shows and all the sounds of nature brought me back from my near death experience. I walk with purpose now and quite frankly couldn't of done it without the loving compassion of Mending Fences. It is a shame to read negative comments about such a magical place. I would recommend it in a heartbeat!

I had a family member go to Mending Fences and had a very good experience. She stated the Equine was her favorite group and I believe she said her horses name was Jack. She stated the atmosphere was very calming and peaceful. If we had to send another loved one to treatment, the choice would be Mending fences again.

My cousin spent 3 months here & changed his life. He had battled with drugs since he was 18 and he's 30 now. He came here when he was 28 and has been clean since then. I wasn't able to come see this place but thank you for all your hard work you did. Forever changed his & our lives.

If I could leave 10 out 5 stars I would. There are not enough words in the English language to describe the changes that occurred internally from the moment I walked into mending fences. Walking in an emotionally unmanageable mess and leaving with a feeling of confidence I have never felt in my life. The mixture of trauma therapy along with guidance on exploring my disease of addiction has forever opened my eyes that I am not as messy as I thought I was. I was loved, supported, guided and always felt comfortable with everyone who works there...from admissions to the therapists, nurses, and the staff. And I will never forget the horse I grew to love either, Merlin. The entire place was magical, nowhere near as scary (including the horses) as I believed it would be, and truly changed my life, emotionlly, menatally and spiritually. Forever grateful.

What an amazing program! I stopped by for a tour at their Fall Festival and found an old race horse training farm completely transformed to a state of the art facility along with some of the best mental health folks I know! I really enjoyed the staff, the facilities, the services already in place, and the transition step down program that I saw available. By the sounds of it, there are additional services and features to be added in the future. It is a very warm and relaxing environment tucked away in a secret little safe haven in the country! I would highly recommend this program for anyone needing substance abuse & addiction treatment.

Equine therapy really helped decrease my anxiety. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Staff are all friendly and approachable, always willing to talk. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. We took walks almost every morning. Therapists and groups- phenomenal- such a talented and compassionate group of clinicians. I am more than grateful I selected mending fences as part of my recovery.
